DEAE-葡聚糖凝胶A50是以交联葡聚糖为基质，通过化学方法引入电荷基团二乙氨乙基，制成外形呈珠状的弱碱型阴离子交换剂，此类交换剂对核酸和蛋白质有较高的结合容量，且流速比无定形纤维素离子交换剂快。为阴离子交换剂，吸附酸性蛋白，可分离中等大小生物分子（30-200KD）。
