Exendin-4由39个氨基酸残基组成,与胰高血糖素样肽1(GLP-1)有53%的同源性,是GLP-1受体激动剂,与GLP-1类似, Exendin-4 可调节血糖浓度,但GLP-1的半衰期仅有2min,而Exendin-4半衰期却长达9.57h,因此在治疗2型糖尿病方面具有广阔的前景。
