长生不老?<font color='red'>Na</font>ture子刊:基因支配衰老的遗传学途径被发现!
研究人员对线虫的耐热突变体(寿命往往更长)进行了基因检测,并鉴定出硫酸酯酶2(sul-2)基因的等位基因pv17,后者是编码秀丽隐杆线虫硫酸酯酶家族的成员之一。结果发现,携带sul-2的pv17等位基因或无效等位基因gk187的线虫寿命比野生型要长,而删除sul-1和sul-3则不会影响线虫寿命,这表明硫酸酯酶sul-2在调节寿命方面起主要作用。[查看]

造血干细胞(HSC)是血液系统中的成体干细胞,常见于骨髓、外周血及脐带血。在人的一生中,HSC需要根据机体的生理需求适时的补充血液系统各个成熟细胞组分,例如在损伤、炎症等应激状态下,它需要调节和维持体内血液系统各个细胞组分的生理平衡。因为HSC具有分化成各类血细胞的潜能,因而成为治疗血液系统疾病和自身免疫疾病的首选。然而,动员HSC的详细机制仍然未知。近日,来自阿尔伯特爱因斯坦医学院的研究人员在《Nature》上发表题为Nociceptive nerves regulate haematopoietic stem cell mobilization的文章,发现伤害性神经可动员造血干细胞,这为干细胞移植及血液疾病治疗提供新方向。[查看]
