Neurology:太低的LDL胆固醇可能会增加出血性中风的风险
目前的指南建议降低胆固醇,以降低心脏病风险。在一项新的为期9年的研究中,来自中国和美国的研究人员研究了低密度脂蛋白胆固醇(LDL)---通常称为“坏”胆固醇---与出血性中风之间的关系,结果发现如果胆固醇下降过低,这可能会增加出血性中风的风险。当血管在大脑中爆裂时,这种类型的中风就会发生。相关研究结果于2019年7月2日在线发表在Neurology期刊上,论文标题为“Low-density lipoprotein cholesterol and risk of intracerebral hemorrhage”。[查看]

细胞乙酰化的辐射增敏研究取得进展
组蛋白乙酰化是表观遗传修饰的重要方式之一。肿瘤的产生与组蛋白乙酰化与去乙酰化的调控失衡关系密切,而组蛋白去乙酰化酶抑制剂(histone deacetylase inhibit,HDACi)可以改变乙酰化调控的失衡状态,提高细胞乙酰化水平,抑制肿瘤细胞的增殖和转移。目前,研究人员纷纷尝试将HDACi用于辐射增敏研究,普遍认为经HDACi预处理的细胞乙酰化水平越高,辐射敏感性越强,但目前该研究仅限于不同剂量HDACi对细胞辐射敏感性的影响,对HDACi预处理时间的影响尚未见报道。[查看]
