Science解读!揭秘轮状病毒诱发严重胃肠道疾病的分子机制!
这篇研究报告中,研究人员发现,轮状病毒感染的细胞能释放名为二磷酸腺苷(ADP,adenosine diphosphate)的信号分子,该信号分子能与邻近细胞上的细胞受体P2Y1相结合,ADP对P2Y1的激活就会导致未感染的细胞中产生名为细胞间钙质波的信号分子,通过干扰ADP与其受体的结合就能够降低小鼠疾病模型的腹泻严重性,这就表明,靶向作用P2Y1或能作为一种有效的策略来控制人群中的病毒性腹泻。[查看]

研究揭示小鼠基态多能干细胞的转录调控新机制
近日,中国科学院广州生物医药与健康研究院Miguel A. Esteban实验室和以色列魏茨曼科学研究院Jacob H. Hanna实验室及武汉大学陈亮实验室的研究人员合作在Science Advances在线发表了研究成果。该研究发现在基态多能干细胞中,激活的β-catenin通过在多能性位点招募辅调控因子促进多能性基因的转录起始,减少了对BRD4/CDK9调控的暂停释放的依赖,但是对抑制转录起始更敏感,从而解释了基态多能干细胞在面临外界扰动时更稳定的原因。[查看]
